Today's Office of Readings for the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel had a second reading from Pope St. Leo the Great on the Incarnation. It reminded me of some of the theological silliness I lived through in the 1970s. The kind of thing you don't hear often anymore unless you attend the Episcopalian church.
